The existing Cooking Therapist platform had fallen behind user expectations in both design and functionality. An outdated visual language, inconsistent navigation patterns, and a lack of content hierarchy made it difficult for users to discover recipes or stay engaged beyond their initial visit. The platform failed to reflect the warmth and creativity of the brand, leaving a significant gap between the content quality and the experience of accessing it.
Compounding the design issues was the complete absence of a content management system for site owners. Every recipe update, addition, or removal required direct developer involvement—creating bottlenecks, slowing down content publishing, and making it impossible for non-technical team members to keep the platform fresh. Our redesign needed to solve both problems simultaneously: elevate the user-facing experience while giving the team behind it genuine operational independence.

Enhanced recipe discovery through a modern, visually engaging layout that reflects the brand's personality and keeps users browsing longer
Significantly increased content management efficiency—site owners can now publish and update recipes independently, without any developer involvement
Improved user engagement through a responsive design and smooth browsing experience that performs consistently across all devices and screen sizes
Faster content update cycles, reducing the time from recipe creation to publication and eliminating the backlog that had previously built up due to developer dependency
